Rant clothing is the collaboration between Sarah Garrett-Hodoniczky

& Jason Hodoniczky, PhD. A convergence of their respective fashion + science

backgrounds. Rant clothing’s emphasis is on the biocompatibility of natural 

fabrications. Incorporating silks, cottons, bamboo, linen, rayon, wool and 

innovative blends. Textural and functional elements combined with the 

harmony of natural fibres, ensures a rewarding experience with every garment. 

The design process at rant clothing takes inspiration from the natural 

environment. Synthesising a connection between the natural fibres into form 

and function, creating a relaxed ready to wear style.  Quality fabrics, buttons 

and trims are sourced to produce a 100 % Australian made product with high 

attention to detail. The testing of styles for fabric performance + comfort is 

carried out to ensure a rewarding experience.  Styles are able to cross multiple 

markets with sizes ranging from XS – XXL. Each collection is also designed to 

be modular, and therefore adaptable in varied climates. Rant clothing values its 

local network of cutters + sewers and has been enjoying their support, along 

with other professionals in the local design + manufacture industries since 2003.
